SERVTRAC® Mobile .NET

Servtrac® .NET is a program designed for field service organizations that are looking for ways to simplify business processes, reduce overhead, improve technician productivity and improve customer service.  The program integrates wireless and web-based technologies into the field service technicians’ day-to-day operations, offering a significant improvement in communications between the office and the technician.

Servtrac® Mobile .NET has been developed using Microsoft’s® .NET Framework, runs on Microsoft’s Windows® Mobile 2003 operating system and will operate on industry standard handheld computers, PDAs, Laptops and other mobile client devices.  In addition, Servtrac® provides features that will allow field service personnel to utilize web-enabled cellular phones.  Both platforms will offer a full suite of “mobile data” applications that will help eliminate the manual inefficiencies and paperwork that overwhelm technicians and administrative staff.  

Servtrac® Mobile .NET provides the capability to:

  • Receive assigned call list from the office electronically on mobile devices

  • Track travel and call completion times on mobile device

  • Account for inventory usage with quick access to stock quantities and pricing

  • Complete work orders on mobile devices

  • Automatically update call and invoice information before end of day

  • Barcode scanning capability for field generated invoice and physical count activities

  • Capture customer signature electronically

  • Communicates with the Servtrac® Dispatch Server via the Internet, Wireless Networks or Wired Network.

  • Servtrac® CE does not require a connection for operation.  If a network connection is unavailable, the PDA will store the technician’s data until one is available, and then automatically forward the data to the server.



  • Secure access protects sensitive data

  • Technician has the ability to:

    • View and update open calls

    • View and relieve inventory quantities

    • Process service orders and invoices

    • Update Servtrac® Dispatch at the office


 


 

  • Select “Call List” and Servtrac® will display the technician’s assigned calls.
  • Data is exchanged each time the PDA connects to the network, and update records on the server and the PDA


 

  • Select one of the assigned calls and Servtrac® will display customer information, i.e. name, contact, last service date, premier customer status and address.


 

  • The technician can accept or reject the call, either action will update the Servtrac® call center appropriately



  • If the call is accepted, the technician has access to call detail information, problem and remedy codes and other pertinent call information
